Gummy manufacturer RFQ template: get comparable quotes.

A copyable project brief for brand owners evaluating formula, testing, packaging, production and delivery options.

A quote becomes useful only when suppliers are quoting the same scope. Copy the template below, complete what you know, and mark open items as “to be proposed.” It is better to identify an unknown than to let each supplier assume something different.

Four items that most often change the quote

1. The actual serving

State dose per serving and pieces per serving together. A dose without the piece count does not define the product.

2. The test scope

Separate incoming-material documents from finished-product testing. They answer different questions.

3. The package

Moisture barrier, closure, liner and desiccant assumptions can affect both stability planning and cost.

4. Delivery responsibility

Confirm whether freight, duties and importer responsibilities are included or remain with the brand.

Use the template to compare, not to over-promise

A sample can help assess taste, texture and appearance. It does not by itself prove commercial-batch uniformity, stability or release testing. Ask each potential supplier how an approved sample becomes a controlled commercial specification and what changes require a re-quote.
