Private label fiber gummy project review

Discuss a fiber gummy project with Sucotond USA, the U.S. sales and project coordination office. Put the intended fiber declaration, ingredient basis and serving design into the same brief before comparing supplier proposals. No particular fiber load, sweetener system or production outcome is confirmed by this page.

Agree three different numbers

  1. Proposed dietary fiber per serving. Identify the carbohydrate and the basis for counting it toward the declaration. Use the fiber eligibility checklist.
  2. Supplied ingredient mass. State the qualifying-fiber content of that particular material and the basis used in its specification.
  3. Pieces per serving and finished piece weight. These determine the per-piece mass budget; they are not interchangeable with fiber grams.

FDA distinguishes qualifying dietary fiber from other non-digestible carbohydrates and explains why supporting ingredient records may be needed alongside analytical results. See FDA's dietary-fiber questions and answers. A “prebiotic” descriptor is a separate substantiation question; this calculation does not establish a health effect or approve that wording.

A fictional serving-design comparison

Assume a 5.0 g target of qualifying fiber per serving, a single ingredient containing 90% qualifying fiber by mass as supplied, and a 4.0 g finished piece. Assume no loss of qualifying fiber and no contribution from other ingredients solely for this arithmetic. These assumptions are not a recommended serving or a feasibility finding. Reconcile actual process yield, composition and finished-product evidence separately.

Fictional fiber serving comparison
Pieces per serving Ingredient input per serving Ingredient input per piece Share of a 4.0 g finished piece
2 5.56 g 2.78 g 69.4%
3 5.56 g 1.85 g 46.3%

Before rounding, the calculations are 5.0/0.90 = 5.555… g, divided by two or three pieces, then divided by 4.0 g. Changing piece count changes the mass budget. It does not prove either option will process, retain the target fiber or remain stable. The rest of the formula—including water, gelling ingredients and other components—must also fit. Use the formula-space calculator for bookkeeping, not approval.

Keep combined concepts separate

If live microorganisms are also proposed, record strain, count basis and time point separately using the probiotic project page. A CFU value does not establish dietary-fiber grams, and dietary-fiber grams do not establish a viable count.

Prepare a non-confidential project outline

List material identity, specification basis, proposed fiber amount, serving and piece design, gummy-system preference, target market and package. Mark the evidence and claim questions still awaiting review, including any intended prebiotic wording.

Send your fiber project outline with unknown fields left open. Do not send private quotations or proprietary formulas in the first message. Project-specific review determines feasibility and commercial scope.

Non-Confidential Project Outline

Discuss your fiber gummy project

Mark unknown specifications as open. Project review does not confirm formulation feasibility, supply terms or a production commitment.

Do not submit confidential formula details before an NDA is in place. By submitting, you agree that Sucotond USA may use these details to evaluate and respond to the inquiry. Privacy notice.

Thanks — your brief was received.
The project inputs are ready for internal review.
