We queried the NIH Dietary Supplement Label Database for records carrying both on-market status and the E0176 gummy or jelly form code. The downloadable snapshot preserves label-level product type, target group, claim type, ingredient categories and narrow pectin/gelatin text matches. It is a product-planning reference, not a sales, quality or feasibility census.

Coverage boundary: NIH says DSLD labels come from products reported in national surveys and voluntary submissions by manufacturers and marketers. “On market” is the database status at capture time; it is not our independent verification that a product is currently sold, compliant, effective or made as declared.

- Pectin/gelatin text presence does not establish the complete gelling system, dietary suitability or manufacturing route; non-mention does not establish absence.
- The counts do not predict whether a proposed dose, ingredient combination, texture, package, MOQ, timeline or cost is feasible.

Frequently asked
Does 3,007 mean exactly 3,007 gummy supplements are sold in the U.S.?
No. It is the number returned by the public API at capture time under the stated filters. DSLD is assembled from national-survey products and voluntary submissions; it is not a complete retail census.
Does a pectin or gelatin mention prove the commercial gelling system?
No. It proves only that the term appeared in the searchable ingredient group/name data returned for that label. Confirm the complete material and dietary basis in the project specification.
Can these counts be used as market share?
No. There is no sales denominator. Use the data to see how labels are represented in DSLD and to generate better supplier questions—not to rank demand or predict commercial performance.
